The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released recruitment notification for filling up of (7883) CWE Clerk posts in certain banks working in India.


IBPS has invited online applications to form the eligible candidates, who aspire to join in the banks listed below. The validity for CWE Clerks-VII will automatically expire at the close of business on 31.03.2019 with or without giving any notice. IBPS Recruitment Notification for Clerks.

Age: (As on 01.09.20017)

  • Candidates should have age between 20 years to 28 years. That means a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1989 and not later than 01.09.2017 (both dates inclusive)
  • Relaxation of upper age limit is for SC/STs 5 years and OBC for 3 years and others 10 years.

Education Qualification:

  1. Candidate must study Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India (OR) any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  2. Candidate should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language /Should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the HIgh School / College/Institute.
Examination Pattern:
Candidate will have to attend two types of examinations i.e. Preliminary and Main Examination through Common Recruitment Process.

Preliminary Examination:

The preliminary examination will be 100 marks with 1-hour composite writing.
  • English Language - 30 Marks
  • Numerical Ability - 35 Marks
  • Reasoning Ability - 35 Marks

Main Examination:

  • General / Financial Awareness - 50 Marks
  • General English - 40 Marks
  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 60 Marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Marks

The penalty for the Wrong Answer:

The candidate has to pay attention to "Penalty for the wrong answer". For each wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted. That means for every 4 wrong answers 1 mark will be deducted.

Fee:

  • Application Fees/ Intimation charges payable from 12.09.2017 to 03.10.2017
  • Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
  • Rs. 600 for all others.

How to apply for clerk jobs through IBPS 2017-18?

  1. Candidate can apply online only from 12.09.2017 to 03.10.2017 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
  2. The candidate has to visit the IBPS website for submitting the application.
  3. Click on CWE Clerk and candidate will find "Click here to apply online for CWE- Clerks VII".
  4. Candidate will have to click on "Click here for new Registration" link by entering basic details like DOB, Email-ID, Mobile Number etc. 
  5. After completion of primary registration, a registration number and password will be sent to the valid Email-Id and Mobile number.
  6. The candidate has to fill all the data and save it. If you want to edit the data click on next button. 
  7. After careful verification of the application. 
  8. Candidate should click on final submission button.

Mode of Payment:

  • The candidate has to pay a fee in online mode.
  • After final submission, applicant leads to the payment gateway page.
  • Candidate can pay the fee using Internet banking/Credit Card/Debit Card, IMPS, Cash Card/Mobile Wallets.
  • If the online transaction has not been successfully completed, the candidate has advised to login to IBPS with using Registration ID and Password.
  • A payment receipt will be generated.
  • Take print out the payment receipt and online application for further reference.

How to upload a scanned Photograph and Signature?

 Scanning photograph and signature with dpi setting as 200.

Photograph Image:

  • The photograph must be a recent passport colour picture.
  • Dimensions should be 200 x 230 pixels 
  • Size should be 20kb - 50 kb.

Signature Image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with a Black ink pen.
  • Dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels.
  • Size should be 10 kb - 20 kb.

How to crop and resize a Photograph and Signature?

First, scan an image in .jpg or .jpeg format with using the scanner.
Use paint application is an easy way to cropping and resizing the images.
