(39) Multi Tasking posts are available in the AP Postal Circle in various places in AP!

Office of the Chief Postmaster Circle, Vijayawada has issued recruitment notification for filling up of (39) MultiTasking Posts in the various places of AP.
The Applications are invited from the eligible candidates who are willing to work as Multi Tasker duly satisfying the education qualification.

  • Circle Office and Regional Office (Vijayawada/Kurnool/Visakhapatnam) - 2 posts
  • PSD, Guntakal-01
  • PSD, Vijayawada - 4
  • Bhimavaram Division -1
  • RMS TP Division - 4
  • RMS Y Division - 15
  • RMS V Division -12

The scale of Pay: 
Rs. 5200 - 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 1800.

Age Limit:
Age must be between 18 years to 25 years.
Age relaxation for OBC for 3 years and for SC/ST 5 years and others is as per Government rules.

Education Qualification:

The candidate must be passed SSC (10th Class) or ITI from a recognized university.

Examination Centers:

 Examination centers Vijayawada, Kurnool, and Visakhapatnam.

Examination Pattern:

  • Candidates have to attend Multiple Choice Aptitude Test on the 10th basis for 100 marks.
  • Part A, B, C: Each part has respectively 25 questions on General Knowledge, Mathematics, English, Telugu for 25 marks each.

Qualifying Marks:

Part A, B&C: Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST, 9 marks for OBC.
Candidates have to secure minimum 40% for OC, 37% for OBC and 33% for SC/ST of the Total aggregate marks.

Application fee Rs. 100
Examination fee Rs. 400

NOTE: SC/ST, PWD, Women are exempted from examination fee Rs. 400/-, but these category candidates have to pay Rs. 100 towards Application fee.

How to apply for the post of Multi Tasking in the AP Postal Department?

  1. The candidate has to access AP Postal Website for application submission through online only.
  2. Applicant should fill all their details appearing on the application form. Such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
  3. Applicant has to choose three preferences for Examination centers.
  4. Fill qualification details in the next row.
  5. After verification of the provided information is correct! click on submit button.
  6. Tha applicant can edit all the details before final submission.
  7. Before submission of application candidate should prepare with soft copies of Photograph and Signature. All scanned soft copies should be in .jpg or .jpeg formats only.
  8. Photograph not more than 50 kb with dimensions 165 x  125 pixels.
  9. Signature not more than 20 kb with dimensions 80 x 120 pixels. 
  10. After submission of the application, a temporary Registration Number displays on the screen. Note it carefully.
  11. Login to the AP POST by providing Registration Number and Date of Birth, the candidate can generate the triplicate challan.
  12. Using Challan candidate should submit the final payment in the Head Post office listed in the Notification.
  13. After confirmation the Payment, the candidate should check the status whether the application is successfully completed or not.
  14. Once the fee is paid, it can not be refunded.
