APPSC Recruitment 1055 Panchayat Secretary Grade IV Posts

APPSC commission has issued recruitment notification for filling up of 1055 Panchayat Secretary Group-IV posts in the department of Panchayat Raj Subordinate Services.

APPSC has invited online application from the eligible candidates for filling up of 1055 Panchayat Secretary  Posts on or before 30.01.2017.

Education qualification:

Student must have possessed Graducation  qualification from any recognized University in India.

Age should be between 18 years to 42 years. The age relaxation has been given in the notification as per Govt. rules.

The Scale of Pay: Rs. 16400 -  Rs.49870
Every candidate has to pay Rs. 250 towards online processing fee and Rs.80 towards Examination fee.
In case SC, ST, OBC, Ph, Ex-servicemen, White card holder, Unemployed youth fee is relaxed, they no need to pay Rs.80 towards examination fee.

Examination pattern & Syllabus:

  1. If the applications received by the APPSC Commission more than 25000, then a screening test will be conducted for the recruitment process.
  2.  From the screening test, merit candidates will be allowed for the main examination.
  3. If not everyone allowed for the main examination. 
  4. The Main examination will be on computer based online objective type examination
  5. If the candidate is not aware of online examination, a candidate can try a MOCK TEST which is introduced by APPSC commission.

Screening test: Marks 150 for 150 questions.

Main Exam: 

  • General Studies & Mental Ability-150 questions - 150 marks
  • Rural Development and Problems in Rural areas with special reference to AP - 150 marks - 150 questions.

NOTE: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for a wrong answer pertaining to the particular question.

How to submit an online application for Panchayat Secretary posts in the recruitment?

  1. A candidate must register profile through APPSC OTPR.
  2. Candidate must pay the fee before submitting the application.
  3. Clik on payment option. Fill all the details and click on proceed to payment button.
  4. Payment can be done different types like using Debit Card/Credit Card/Online Payment etc.,
  5. After paying the fee a JOURNAL NUMBER will be displayed keep it for further reference in order to submit the application.
  6. Now click on Online submit application link. You will lead to the submit form. 
  7. Now fill the blanks with Journal number, DOB and other details. 
  8. Upload candidates latest photograph with signature in required sizes and submit the application. 
  9. An application reference id will be generated. Keep it for further reference.

Important Dates:
  • Online application submission starts on 31.12.2016
  • The last date for online submission is on 30.01.2017.
  • The screening test examination is on 23.04.2017.
  • Th main examination is on 16.07.2017
  • Download hall tickets before 7 days of the examination.
