TSPSC One Time Registration (OTR) in Recruitment


Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has introduced the One Time Registration (OTR) in recruitments. The Commission has made OTR is mandatory for every applicant.

What is the importance of OTR registration in TSPSC recruitments?

  1. In the past, every student must fill the application form with all the details as the academic career, Date of Birth and the dates of the year passing etc. 
  2. It causes deviation of some information, so avoiding this situation TSPSC commission has introduced the OTR system.
  3. The main importance is "once the student registered his profile through OTR system, he can apply any posts notified by TSPSC in a single attempt". 
  4. There is no need to fill up the application form every time. It is a win-win situation for both the student and the Commission.

How to fill up OTR form through TS Public Service Commission online?

  1. Visit TSPSC website.
  2. You can find One Time Registration form with New and Edit buttons.
  3. Click on New button for a fresh registration.
  4. Aadhar details should be entered.
  5. A student should enter their personal details like Name (follow the SSC certificate), Gender, Date of Birth, Community (Caste) and identification marks.
  6. The following are the points are mentioned in the OTR registration form
  • Are you a Different abled person?
  • Are you an Ex-service person?
  • Are you retrenched temporary employee in state census Department?
  • Have you worked as an instructor in NCC?
  • Are you employed?
  • Do you claim examination fee exemption?
  • Do you claim age relaxation?
Email id and mobile is mandatory. 
If the applicant has not the personal email id, so it is necessary to create an email id to receive the TSPSC Reference ID and the notification alerts from the commission. 

 Education Qualification: 

  1. In the registration form Regular study, Private Study, Open Schooling options are there.
  2. If the applicant finished his/her study as Regular, he/she submit the study details from 1st to 10th.
  3. The same process applicable for Private study and open schooling study. 
  4. Academic details of SSC, Intermediate, Degree, Diploma, PG, M.Phil, P.hd, Whatever qualification have the student should submit the details as District, Hall ticket, Date of the pass, Pass percentage, Board of examination. 
  5. If the student has additional qualification he/she can add the additional qualification in the form.

How to upload a scanned Photograph and Signature on OTR Registration form?

  • This is the little typical part in the registration. 
  • Before filling the application form students must be scanned their photograph and signature for uploading. 

  1. For the photograph, certain dimensions are mentioned in the registration. 
  2. A photograph should have the dimensions 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm (In the pixels it is 413 x 531)
  3. The photograph size should not be more than 50 kb and it is in .jpeg format only. 
  4. Below the photograph Name and Photo taken date should be mentioned.
  • Certain dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (In pixels, it is 413 x 177) are also given for signature. 
  • Signature size should not be more than 30 kb and it is in .jpeg format only.

Editing a photograph with Name and Date of the photo is compatible with GOOGLE Drawings only.
Open Google Drive using google e-mail id. Click on New-> More-> Google Drawings.
Drag your photograph, add a text box below the photograph and edit with Name and Date of the photo. Save the photograph in JPEG (.jpg) format only.

Finally, click on the preview button, where a student can chek all the details. If found anything wrong, he/she can edit the application.

Once submit the application a TSPSC Reference ID will be sent to the mail id and to the mobile number. 

A student can EDIT his application by giving the Reference Id, Date of Birth and Captcha through TSPSC website.
